For Sale or Rent decided to take a shortcut after hearing whistles in the distance. We ran through a field of tall grass. That called for an impromptu tick check. That led us to a new road being built in another sub division. At that point we could see the FRBs running around aimlessly looking for true trail. Shortcutting again across the lots for the new homes, we encountered some delicious shoe sucking mud. The pack seemed very far away then.
We met the walkers while searching for For Sale or Rent. A humiliating experience, but they are snappy dressers --- especially Only 2? This part of the trail brought us back to civilization. From there on out it was a gala urban run. Passing the cars at the school meant we were on our way to A’, wherever that was going to be. True trail took us quickly to the Down-Down. As for what the FRBs were doing on trail, you had better ask them.
All in all it was a good trail, fairly well marked, with a variety of
shiggey, shoe sucking mud, poison ivy, and decent weather, if a bit chilly.
Still, it hurts my pride to give the Hares any credit for it!
Circle news:
The four hares – The Dumbasses, Three Times A Lady, Drive Thru, and
their canine sidekick, Ike – were recognized for their obviously sh*tty
trail.
There was one virgin, and bless Nurse Crotchet for bringing her: Lupe.
Visitors: Scratched & Sniffed, and Sticky Fingers, SF being a newby to the area who was ceremoniously inducted to the annals of MVH3 (thanks FMB).

There were no anniversaries, probably to compensate for the plethora of anniversaries the previous week. Or because this trail was way out in the boonies on a sh*tty rainy day and the little pussies east of the beltway didn’t want to get cold and wet. But I digress.
What we lacked in anniversaries we made up for with violations: Pinky Penis – living across the street from the start, yet driving anyway; Womb Broom – the annual Hareraiser-screws-up-PUDJAM violation; Belly Up – wearing donated clothes to stay warm, when there were plenty of harriettes for that job; Only 2? – lost the walkers; And How’s Her Bush – drinking Bud; Pudknocker – environmental; Rocky Whore – animal abuse; Nurse Crotchet & Just Lupe – altering the mean IQ of the pack; and Loan Shark – taking “you have a blowout” in the wrong context.
We had one solemn occasion – Just Ron was about to officially become
a hasher. Based on only one story (his availability for sex with
an older woman), several names were suggested, such as The Graduate, 24x7,
and Swine Flu. In the true spirit of the state of Florida, several
votes were taken, and the majority swung to Booty Duty.

FROM THE WEST: Take I66 East to the Fairfax Dr/ Glebe Rd. exit.

FROM DC: Rt. 50 West out of DC. Take the 10th St. exit (just past the overpass and the Courthouse exit) and follow until 10th St. becomes Fairfax Dr. At Quincy St. turn right and go just over a block to the park on the right.
FROM THE SOUTH: Take I395 North to the Washington Blvd exit. Follow Washington Blvd, through Clarendon, past the Giant. The park will be on your left before Quincy St.
FROM THE VIRGINIA SQUARE METRO: Exit the station turning left
onto Monroe St. Cross Fairfax Dr., turn left onto 10th St. and then right
onto Nelson. The park will be on your left.
